I just rebuilt my speedair 5Z185A was created by projet07
Not sure which valve plates go where, there are 3 different thickness

Thanks for the post!
I've attached installation instructions for the Valve Kit on this model, this gives you all of the information you need to install them correctly.
You have the Intake valves, which are the thinnest, then your Exhaust valves which are thicker. Lastly, you have the Valve Retainers, which are ridgid and install on top of the flapper valves.

my compressor has the intake valves in the head[the thin ones] and the exhaust are in the valve plate[ the thicker ones] do you still use the the ridgid ones on top of intake or exhaust valves?

I believe you would use the Retainers, which would be installed on top of the thicker Exhaust Valves.
If your valve didn't have these Retainers, however, then there is no need to use them.
