Chainsaw on a pole help needed was created by JeffL
I have a Remington RM0612P Branch Wizard. The motor runs, but the chain doesn't move. I opened it up, and found there is a worm gear from the motor, that turns another gear that slides over a shaft connected to the chain sprocket gear. The problem is that there is nothing locking that sprocket gear shaft to the gear that is turned by motor's work gear. So that gear just spins around on the sprocket gear shaft. Is there anyway to fix this?

Thanks for the post!
I found a schematic online at the below link, just copy and paste it in your browser:

It's not very detailed, but hopefully this will help you out. I don't have very much experience myself with this type of equipment, but I'll do what I can to dig up some information.
