Bosch rotating anchor was created by Nilsi
Ball bearings are shielded one side and sealed one side. Failed to notice what way they were installed. Now should the shielded side point inwards or outwards? This is a rotating anchor of an bosch table saw electric motor.

This is a European model so I don't have a lot of information on it, I'm afraid.
However, "typically" the rubber seal side goes towards the area that would get dust and debris in it. A rubber seal protects more than a metal shield; also rubber is heat sensitive.
