Older C&H 34 deg finish nailer needing safety parts was created by N_Jay
I have an older C&H finish nailer.
I don't have the model, but can get pictures of any details that will help.
It is missing the safety tip parts.
I find a few references that they are NLA, but looking ta the similarities with other brands, wonder if anyone has any suggestions other to bypass the safety as the previous own did.

Thanks for the post N_Jay,
It would certainly help to have the model number, but if you don't have that then pictures will definitely help.
It's not recommended to remove the safety mechanism on the nailer but if you have to, you can do so to operate the nailer. This means that you wouldn't have to press the safety mechanism to the firing surface (wood, carpet etc.), you just "point and shoot". It's certainly more dangerous, but you can use the nailer in this manner.

Thanks for the pics!
First, I'll contact my Campbell Hausfeld rep to confirm parts are NLA (or available, possibly).
Again, you can certainly use the nailer "as-is", you would simply hold the nose up to the firing surface, then depress the trigger stem, but safety is the issue here.

Yep, you can see that is what the previous owner did with some wire.

It is an NB3565 nail gun and C&H says the parts are NLA.
I might get creative with some drill rod.
