Replace trigger valve on Rigid nailer was created by tdemboski
I have a Rigid 16 gauge nailer model R250SFE I have a bad trigger valve but I can't figure out how to get to it. I took the bottom part of the nailer apart but no luck. Thanks for any help

Thank you for the post tdemboski,

You don't have to remove the nose of the nailer to get to the trigger valve, actually. There are three roll pins that have to be removed, first (you can see them on the schematic image at the link below, reference numbers 39 and 40).

Once you punch out these pins the plastic trigger valve will be visible. The easiest way to remove it is to put a heavy shop rag or two in front of it, then hook up your air hose to the nailer. It will pop right out with force, so be careful!

You can see a video of how this is done on a different nailer, but the process is the same as it has a very similar trigger valve:

Hope this helps!
