BT1855- Oil Damage? was created by MeowsWows
My BT1855 has had moderate use, we have oiled it with bostitch oil not realizing it is oiless. It leaks air from inside the head and does not cycle. could it be damaged from the oil and what will I need for parts? It first stopped working when it was real cold until it warmed up.

Thanks for the question!
Since it's oil-free, oil CAN actually damage the internal components, yes. This isn't to say it's certainly why you're the nailer isn't operating but it could be.
Failure to cycle could be caused by these problems:
Air supply restriction ----> Check air supply equipment
Worn head valve ----> Replace head valve
Broken cylinder cap spring ----> Replace cylinder cap spring
Head valve stuck in cap ----> Disassemble / Check / Lubricate
Hope this helps!
