Valve body was created by tcole
I received my new valve body and two gaskets today. Unfortunately the valve body is not correct for my compressor although the part number seemed to be correct on the diagram. Are there different valve bodies for the 165 model?
With the new body installed the two air canisters and metal bar simply fall out. The casting is not the same as the one I have now that traps the cannister bar tightly. What do I do.

True, Sanborn no longer makes the valve plate the same way as the old one. When replacing the valve plate with the new style, you have to use a felt filter instead of the canister filters.
