Working on Industrial Powermate Pontoon Gas Powered (GX160) oil free compressor. The problem I am running into is the ring for the compressor is lasting 2 months and fold over. I know why this is happing. The amount of use and the environment is the reason for the failure. 
I am wanting to change the compressor completely to an oil bath style compressor. I found one that should work (Part# 11MK238FI) appears to be direct fit. I have checked to make sure the crank on the motor will except the crank for the compressor and the mounting plate appears to have the correct bolt pattern. I know that I will have to do some repluming and that fine. 
I am I missing something??
