I inherited a power washer. I cannot find name or model number on it. But it has been around for some years.
The motor is working but a part attached to it appears to be broken. I am attaching screenshots of the part:

Description of the part, as can be seen in the screenshots:

The part is a white box (plastic) containing a switch. It should be attached to motor but has has broken off.
1st Screenshot: . The white box in position as it should be..
2nd Screenshot: The white box separated and opened

What is the part? Can it be replaced. Not knowing maker and model is my problem. I could send a screenshot of the whole washer, but unfortunately I cant fully assemble it at the moment (due to heavy snow in my area).

Thanks for the post!

The pictures show a micro switch and it looks like it is connected to the pump with a plastic housing. If this is an electric pressure washer then it is probably part of the control circuit that shuts down the electric motor when the unit is not in use. When you let go of the trigger the unit shuts down until the trigger is actuated again. This is my best guess without looking at the whole unit.
