Changing guard arm on Rigid MS1290LZ1 12" miter sa was created by lauriemohan485@gmail.com
I need to replace the guard arm on my miter saw and am wondering how to remove one bolt to do so. The bolt is at the base of the arm where the arm attaches to saw. The bolt head is in a tight space. I can get the nut off as it faces put but cannot figure out how to get the bolt out so the arm can come off. Please help.

Thanks for the post!
I am not sure what a "guard arm" is to be honest, so I am going to assume that we are talking about the actuator link that retracts the blade guard when cutting (?).
I don't know what the problem would be as this is a pretty straightforward assembly. There are usually two shoulder bolts on either end that allow the link to pivot as it is pulled. Sometimes on particular units you may have to reposition the head or remove an access cover to get to a bolt.
Maybe a photo of the assembly would help.
