Have a old Hobart Brothers gas powered welder and was created by atarusa
have a 20 year old gas powered Hobart brothers welder and generator 6500 watt with Koehler magnum 16hp motor. going crazy trying to find anyone that has info on it and can help me find a replacement solenoid mechanism. I done a lot of searching and calling around and such. but not help. Only numbers I find on unit, inside or out, is 8g10y2112. so far am told no one knows what this is. Any one can help me find an old guy that knows a lot about these set ups is appreciated. need to find that solenoid to make it spool up high enough to work correctly. thanks. AtarUSA

Thanks for the post!
I wish I had some info on this machine but I'm finding out what you already know...there isn't any information out there on this unit.
I would honestly contact Hobart directly at 1-800-332-3281.
You can also email them at their website, just click on the below link:

Wish I could be of more help, hopefully they can narrow it down for you.
