Condor has the habit of switching out the unloader valve with different ones. They change this with just a few pressure switches for certain vendors. Typically we tell people to use the new unloader and simply slide the nylon tube into the new one. I'm sure you have figured this out since when you posted this.

Thank you for your help. My compressor is working now. I had one hiccup, namely after powering the compressor, the unloader tube popped out of the valve, toothed retainer ring and all. It continued to spew air until the tank was empty. I replaced the check valve and all is good now.

I'm glad that you were able to get your unit back up and running.
Did your old check valve have a metal filter screen in the inlet? If so, remove the filter screen as it tends to get clogged. I'm referring to the tank check valve that goes into the tank.
