Please HELP - Smith & Wesson Magnum Air Compressor was created by BEBEDOG
Hi,
Has anyone come across a Smith & Wesson "Magnum Air" Compressor? I inherited all my father's tools when he passed and can't figure out much about this unit on the internet. Is this an industrial or personal unit? What's the PSI?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as nothing could be found on the unit or the internet. It seems as though S&W has never even made a compressor from what I can find. Pictures added....
Thank you for your help!
Sincerely,
Stephanie

Thanks for the post BEBEDOG,
I'm not sure exactly who made this for Smith & Wesson and I wasn't even aware they private labeled air compressors, but that looks like a fairly typical direct-drive, oil-bath motor/pump assembly used on other units.
The pump/motor looks a lot like others made by Fini, which are used on units made by Rolair, Emglo, Jenny, Senco and others.
You can view a similar motor/pump assembly by clicking on the below link:
mastertoolrepair.com/air-compressor-pump...ts-am39-p-11854.html
If it's a 3/4 HP motor I would guess the output would be approximately 2.5 to 3 CFM @ 100 PSI. Max pressure is probably 125 PSI as that's typical for a small air compressor like this one.
Hope this helps a little!
