Hey guys. I've got an Emglo M79HC4V that we bought a regulator kit for. It hasn't fixed the issue. I'm wondering if it's possible to replace the manifold the regulator and gauges fit into, as that seems to have some damage. (Customer tried to change the regulator himself before he brought it to us.) I don't know what to call that part exactly, but you can see it on the right hand side in the pump diagram here: aircompressorpartsonline.com/emglo-hand-...glo-parts-p-957.html
It's the bottom piece with the fittings that the regulator, pressure gauge, etc., fit down into. Any help much appreciated.

Thanks for the post johnsmotor,

Unfortunately that Manifold is unavailable as it's been made obsolete by Emglo (now Jenny, Inc.) a few years ago. This is a "master" series unit and Emglo didn't make many of them, so they've phased out many parts for the unit.

The only option from here is to change the configuration of the unit and do away with the manifold setup entirely. This would cost a decent amount of money, however, as you'd probably need to install a new Regulator (a typical in-line regulator) and various fittings to do so. It would end up looking like the AM780 unit you see at the below link:

Thanks for the reply. That's really helpful and good to know.
We wound up suggesting the customer get a new compressor, as the cost for parts and labor wouldn't have made it worth the repair.
Appreciate the response.

That is the best way to go in these cases, to be honest. Glad to help and thanks again for the post!
