this compressor belonged to my wife's dad. it sat idle for at least twenty years. i plugged it in and got not even a click nor a hum, no breaker trip, nothing. it was like it was a rock, totally dead. the flywheel would not move by hand. where do i start trying to get this thing to run? thank you, don.

does this unit have sepearate motor and pump? if so remove the belty and find out what is locked up. i would think the pump but see. if its the pump breakit down and see whats up maybe stuck piston...
