Hi all, I've got a new Husky C602H (3.7 advertised HP, 60 Gallon) that I bought a couple years ago but just had a chance to wire in - 20A 220 breaker to an Eaton DP221NGB shut off switch (with 30A TL plug fuses) to the compressor, using 12/2 - and the compressor doesn't turn on. No hum, nothing - I've verified 240v all the way to the motor, so I'm fairly certain there's no problem with the pressure switch - so I'm thinking capacitor, but I figured I'd ask for other opinions before I start swapping stuff out. Ideas?

Thanks for the post!

The problem could possibly be the starting capacitor, there would be no hum if the capacitor is shorted or disconnected for some reason.
If there is power from the switch to the motor then all connections should be checked before replacing anything. Check the connections, capacitors, reset and the centrifugal switch inside the motor housing to start.

If you need any additional information please reply and I'll assist to the best of my ability.
