Thanks for the post!
You're probably correct, typically when you don't get more than 40 PSI it's due to Valve failure in the pump. Also check for obvious leaks anywhere else on the unit (at the tank inlet, drain valve, discharge tube etc.).
What is the model number of the Kobalt unit? It should be located on a decal on the tank itself.

K7060 is the model number. I have replaced the valves once before for same problem. Iam afraid I might not have dont the correct break in procedure and thus the failer of the valves again after little use in the past two years. I believe I purchased the last set from you guys. Please advise proper break in for these valves..I will check on line to see if you provide them

The manufacturer only offers it as a Valve Plate Assy, so it'll be the two-piece Valve Plate with Valves (already pre-installed), as well as the Gaskets you'll need.
The part# is 9428001 and you can find it here:

You can find out how to correctly break in the new Valves by clicking on the below link:

You sure did, the 9428001 Valve Plate Assy is correct for your model.
We have it picked already (it's in stock) and will process and ship very soon.
Thanks David, we appreciate it!
