I have a Campbell Hausfeld WL611106AJ air compressor and my on/off pressure switch is acting up and when I hook the power wire directly to the motor it pumps up pressure and works normal. My question is can I continue to use it like that until I get a new pressure switch? Thanks

Thanks for the post!
You certainly can do this, but I wouldn't recommend it only for safety reasons.
The unit would function, but if your safety valve fails to release pressure due to you not manually turning the unit off in time, the tank could explode causing injury or death.
This is just a disclaimer, but necessary to say.

Thanks for the response; I only use it this way when I need air for something. I always watch the pressure gauge and unplug it well before the normal shut-off pressure. Again Thanks for the answer

Good to hear, and I'm glad to help!
As long as you keep an eye on the PSI and cut it off by the time it reaches the max PSI it won't be detrimental to the compressor to run it this way temporarily.
