no air press was created by pauld
hey , I just replace the release value in my speedaire 4lw38. It is sucking in air not building up? Any suggestion would help. Thanks pauld

Which Safety Relief Valve keeps popping off? Is it the main Safety Valve in threaded in the tank, or the Safety Valve threaded into the fitting on the pump head?

BTW you can see a full parts breakdown with parts list of this model on our site by clicking on the below link:

If the Safety Valve on the pump head keeps blowing off then you probably have a blown head Gasket or damaged Valves in the pump, which is common.

Thanks MTR, I am going to rebuild the head with new gaskets and check rings when I take it apart. After digging around I think it is the head gasket or valve gasket inside the head. I will let you know what I find.
