Sears 919 compressor will not auto start and stop was created by marty
Greetings,
I have a Sears 919.176330 air compressor. It will not auto start or stop. We have to plug in the electrical cord to start it and unplug it to stop it or the pressure release valve will pop out. What part is needed to correct the issue.
Thank you in advance.
Marty

Thanks for the post Marty.
What you need to replace is the on/off Pressure Switch. This is the electrical pneumatic switch that's wired and senses and controls the cut-in and cut-out pressure of the unit.
For this model you can use our replacement part# "FSPS90125" which sells for $39.95 + shipping.
You can find it on our site by clicking on the below link:
www.mastertoolrepair.com/air-compressor-...9176320-p-43778.html
This is the whole pressure switch assy, so it includes the on/off lever switch and unloader valve, which the small 1/4" air line connects to. All you do is thread it into the manifold, hook up your unloader line and wire it up (powercord and motor cord connects to it).
Hope this helps!
