Do you have the model number of the compressor? This will greatly help.
Thanks!

Thank you.
You could have a couple of potential problems.
1. Defective Pressure Switch
2. Defective Circuit Breaker
3. Loose/Damaged connection between the motor/pressure switch and wall
4. Blown fuse.
By the way you can see a parts breakdown and parts list of this unit by clicking on the below link:
www.mastertoolrepair.com/air-compressor-...p-37296-p-16766.html
- I would take the plastic cover off of the pressure switch; take a look at the copper contacts to make sure they're in good shape and not corroded, burnt or rusted.
- Make sure the unit is not drawing too many amps. You may need to put an amp meter to it to confirm it's not drawing too many amps. If you can't do this at home then you can take it in to a motor repair shop and have them diagnose the motor.
- Turn the unit off and unplug it. Take the plastic shroud off of the motor/pump assembly. Turn the Fan by hand to make sure the pump/motor spins freely and that the piston goes up and down.
This should start you off, feel free to reply and we'll go from there.
