DeVilbiss Charge Air Pro Compression Ring was created by Kin2InuYasha
Hello,
I've recently purchased a new compression ring for a DeVilbiss Charge Air Pro. I've attempted to install it using THIS GUIDE . My issue is that my piston does not have a screw to remove the top metal disc. It's just a hole about 1/8th inch deep, and flat on the bottom. Is there a specific way to remove the compression rings on this type of piston?
Thank you.

Thanks for the inquiry,
On some of the older DeVilbiss oil-free units, they used a now obsolete piston/cylinder assembly. These older pistons were flat on top so they wouldn't have a torx screw holding the piston top down onto the piston ring to remove it, you would have to replace the entire piston/cylinder assembly.
To be 100% sure I would need the model# of your particular unit, do you have this available?
