I have a model # 947265 air compressor that is almost new and is now leaking out of the small hole in the cap screw that is located at the end of the finned alum 3/8 outlet tube that goes in the compressor. The air blows out the small hole all the time. The outlet tube is listed as part # A00048. Can i just plug the hole?

Jerry,
I just saw this post, so I am sorry for the delay.
Can you take a picture of the part that you say is leaking and attach it to your reply?
Before I say to go ahead and plug the hole, I want to make sure of which part is leaking.
I looked at the schematic, but wasn't quite sure of which cap screw you are speaking of.
