I am rebuilding a dual piston Craftsman 60 gallon compressor. Seems like a pretty straightforward job. I need to replace both the piston sleeve and piston and rods.
The problem is that the rod bearing from the original seems to be bigger inside diameter than the eccentric shaft. I am assuming that the new rod will be bigger as well. Is this okay? I think it's supposed to be a press fit. How could it be that loose?

You have no comment on my post? You sold me almost $200. worth of parts, but I can't even ask a question and get an answer. Not cool. The piston rod base is bigger than the eccentric diameter. There is a guide washer that is in-between the two piston bearings, but it is not available. So instead of saying that in the part description, you allow your customers to buy 2 $80 dollar kits, and then install without mentioning the spacer-aligning part that is not being produced any more. The unit will rattle to death. I want a refund.
