Our small town NAPA store did not have a 1-5/8 (41mm) socket to tighten the sight glass nut. Neither did Harbor Freight. I ordered one from Amazon and used it to tighten the nut. It turned about 1/8 turn. I believe it will stop the slight oil leak, but it did not stop the POP-POP-POP problem.
