Does anyone know if parts for these are interchangeable. In particular the valve plate assy.
I have two Central Pneumatic 67696 1.5HP 6 Gallon pancake compressors and one recently stopped completely filling. It's stops around 60-70psi. After investigating I found that the aluminum valve plate gasket was damaged. Unfortunately you can't get a replacement from Harbor Freight. They look identical and thought I would ask. Worst case I will be out $15 after shipping if they don't.

These units may very well use the same exact valve plate. I can't confirm for 100% certainty, but that Harbor Freight unit does look identical to the H1506F.
First, you need to confirm if you have a "type 1" or "type 2" model. Click on the below links to view the different valve plates on the two types:

Does your valve plate have a 3-fingered valve on top? If so, you have the "type 1" unit. Or, does it have a two-piece valves plate with rectangular valves sandwiched in between? This would be the "type 2" unit.

In that case, I would say there is a high likelihood that this Husky H1506F type 2 model is identical. It's worth a shot, anyway.
Just use the schematic diagram and parts list on this page:
