Hello All

I have a DeVilbiss Compressor FB5520VP-WK and the muffler (air intake) broke off, brittle plastic from years of use.
I was going to order a replacement kit (KK-4981 Compressor Muffler Kit) but thought of upgrading to a better filter, has anyone upgraded this type before?
From what I understand it the same as a Porter Cable, Craftsman and Black and Decker compressor.

For some reason, the mfgr discontinued this popular part. You can convert it to this one, but you have to also replace the head.
