On our shop compressor the bleed line that bleeds pressure after it cuts off bleeds pressure all of the time wide open, while it's running and while it's not running. Recently, we have installed a new motor on it, replaced the popoff valve and tinkered a bit with the cut in and cut out screws, but I am fairly confident we set them back to the way they were. Pressure is set to 125# fwiw..
Thanks in advance

After turning your unit off and draining the tank, unscrew this elbow from the hexagonal tank fitting.
Unscrew the tank fitting.
This should be a check valve.

Okay so I have taken the check valve out and cleaned the whole thing from the plastic to the spring. It seems to be functioning properly. What I am curious about, is the hose from the check valve goes to the radiator. This other contraption on the front is where the air leaks out after the compressor cuts off (see circled). Any more ideas as I don't think the check valve I cleaned is the culprit
