I was sent a different motor by an ebay seller (r2-resale) than the one he had pictured in the listing image gallery which was identical to mine. Not only that but this wrong mototr's fan blades are crushed backward and rub hard against the ceramic brush holder. Bummer. But all in all it's the right general size and looks like it will fit. But my question is is it missing a plastic shroud like my original or designed to be used as is? All in all it seems a better unit and I might want to live with it. Attached see images of both motors and one of each. The wrong one sent to me is the one without the plastic cylinder shroud. Thanks
The pump you were sent is obviously very similar, and the fact that it doesn't have a shroud isn't a big deal as long all components are inside the shroud the covers the entire unit. It's OK if those motor components aren't covered, just as long as the entire motor/pump assembly is covered when you install the shroud that covers the whole unit.
