Husky 32 gallon. no auto shut off. why? was created by Danny
Hello, I have a 32 gallon Husky air compressor. It runs fine and builds and holds pressure without hesitation. My problem is that it wont automatically shut off. It'll build presure till about 150 psi"-ish" then it blow the saftey valve. How do i fix? please help...

Most likely this is a Pressure Switch problem, since the on/off pressure switch controls the cut-in and cut-out pressure of the unit. Some of these switches are adjustable, some are preset at the factory and cannot be adjusted.

I've attached a document that may help you adjust the switch, if you have the type that is. Under the cover will be a screw that adjusts the high-end cut off pressure.

Do you have the model# of the compressor? This info would help if you do.
