Hi I have a Clarke air indrustrial who’s I have reaclently converter from 3 phase to single I have Been working with it for a few weeks now and there is a brass valve on the head that’s has started blowing out a lot of air does any body know what this is for thanks

Not knowing what model you have, I'd guess the Valve you are referring to is a Head Unloading Valve, although it could also be a Safety Relief Valve.
If you don't have a unit model number, can you take a couple photos of the Pump and the Valve and upload them here? It would help greatly to have a visual on the unit and the component in question.
