Thomas T-2820ST starts and stops was created by Mr-Bill
My compressor was working fine until I stepped on the extension cord while wheeling the unit. It does not show any signs of damage except now it does not work. The compressor starts and almost immediately stops. Approximately a minute later you hear a click then it starts again and then almost immediately stops again. I know that the problem is not with the pressure switch. I wired the motor directly to the power and it does the same thing.
I'm guessing that it is the start capacitor. On my manual it shows 2 capacitors however, you only sell the 30MFD (item #12)
Item #04) Part #: 603021 - Capacitor 208MFD
Item #12) Part #: 603159 - Capacitor 30MFD
Which one is the start capacitor?
Like I said, I am only guessing so any help or insight would be appreciated...
Thank you!

Thanks for the post Bill,
The Thomas part# 603021 is a 208 mfd capacitor and is the START capacitor.
The 30 mfd is the RUN capacitor and is Thomas part# 603209, which replaced the 603159.
I would test the capacitors first to be sure one (or both) are defective.
Hopefully this helps!
