Help with pump id was created by john69camaro
Hi. Like most people here i like to fix and give new life to old tools. Not to long ago i bought a couple of pumps that have no tag on them, except a stamping on the side T40 and i would like to know what kind of pumps are and all the specs. Thank you

Thanks for the post John.

The pump on the left is an ABAC/IMC pump and the model is "HP50".

You can view a full parts breakdown for this with a parts list (and see specs in the tabs at the top of the page) by clicking on the below link:

As for the pump to the right....good question. I'm not sure at the moment, although I'll try to dig a little further to see what I can find.

They seem to be the same size pumps, the only part that is not same is the head assembly.

John,

I would bet the specs are nearly identical on these pumps, as they do look very similar in size, the heads are just a bit different.

Below are the specs for the HP50 pump and I'd say the pump on the right will have very similar specs:

37 CFM @ 100 PSI
7.5 - 10.0 HP
Min RPM 700 Max RPM 1000
Max Pressure 175 PSI
19.70" flywheel.
Bore LP 5.12
Bore HP 2.76
Stroke 3.74
Belt B-2
Weight 187 lbs.
19.7 L x 16.23 W x 28.00 H
Bolt Footprint 11.42" Side to Side; 9.06" Front to Back
72.64 oz. oil capacity
