Compressor oil change was created by Geo501
Can someone tell me how to change the oil on an older Campbell Hausfeld FL 3505 compressor. I see where it's drain plug is but where do you add new fluid?

Thanks for the post!
On this model, you would add oil to the crankcase after removing the Oil Plug right on top of the base of the pump, which is reference number 22 in the diagram (see attached photo).
This pumps takes about 8 to 12 oz of oil best guess, but since these older pumps have a shallow crankcase, I'd fill it up to the threads on the plug, so you can dip your pinky finger in and feel oil.
