hello, I have a speed air 5hp two stage air compressor .
it will run but wont go over 30 psi .
I took the air filter off and I feel air coming out of the top .
can I rebuild it?

This is a Champion pump sold by Grainger exclusively, under their "SpeedAire" brand. For any parts you would need to contact them directly at 800-472-4643.

As for the problem you're experiencing, my best guess is that you have faulty Valves in the pump head. Do you feel any air pushing OUT of the intake? If so, it's certainly a valve problem. One or more of the Valves could be rusted, sticking or damaged, which would cause this.

Once you speak with Grainger let me know what you find, I'd be interested to know what the result is.

hey thanks a lot,
yes I feel air pulling and pushing out of the top of the filter.
ill contact them and get back here with some results.
