Electric Motor pulley was created by patjuv
I am using an old SPEEDAIRE compressor 3Z406D and refixing it now.
Electric motor is a : DAYTON 6K779E, Volt 230 - Hz 60 - PH1 - HP3 - RPM 3450 - Amps 16.0 - FR L56
QUESTIONS:
1- What are the pulley size on the Electric Motor to use with a Motor Pump VT4723
2- What are the Pulley size on the Electric Motor to use with a Speedaire Motor Pump 2Z499A
What will be the smalest and the biggest pulley to be abble to use.
Thank you very much MTR
Pat.

Thanks for the post! I've attached the .pdf parts breakdown and parts list for this unit, hopefully this helps.
The pulley listed for the unit is a "PU000100AG" part# which was 1.7" O.D. x 5/8" shaft.
The VT4723 and the 2Z499A are basically the same pump.
The VT4723 has a flywheel that has a v-section belt and the current pump(2Z499) has poly-V, grooved flywheel.
The old flywheel will work on the new pump(VT472200AJ)(which is the VT4723 Pump without the flywheel).
I hope this answers the question.

Thank you very much for your information.
One more thing:
I want to increase the pump speed to fill quicker the tank.
- what will be the biggest motor pulley size i can use without any damage to the pump?
I am using now the 1,7" pulley on elctric motor, and i am inspecting to go to 2" - 2,5" or 2,8" pulley
Thank you
Pat.

I asked the manufacturer rep and they stated:
"We have this pump listed as 550-670 RPM’s. The 1.7" is the pulley we used to run this pump at max RPMs".
