I need to replace a crankcase, and am interested in procedure to remove crankshaft from the unit so I can remove old crankcase and install new one. I am unsure how to remove the rotor from the crankcase which needs to be done before I can remove the crankshaft from the bearing on the crankcase. Will a bearing splitter remove it or does the rotor need to be heated prior to removing with a splitter or some other method? Thanks.

Thanks for the post!
All of the parts on this pump/motor assy are simply pressed together. To remove or disassemble the parts I would take a small torch and heat it up; this will make disassembling the rotor/crank much easier. You can just use bearing pullers as well (the standard, 3-prong type).
I hope this helps, please reply if you need any additional info.
