30 Gallon 6HP 919.167310 Wiring Help was created by spotter74
I just purchased a new capacitor but wasn't smart enough to take a pic or write down the wiring layout. So i'm in need of some help.
I have a brown wire and red wire which come from the motor and another red wire which is attached to a switch located in the housing where the capacitors sit... Can someone tell me how I connect the wires to the new capacitor?
Thanks in advance

Wiring motors, capacitors etc can be tricky if not present with the unit so I can't be 100% certain as a disclaimer, so it may be best to contact the factory at 1-800-433-9258. This is Stanley Black & Decker who now own DeVilbiss, who made this unit for Sears.
There are only two leads on most capacitors so it's a 50/50 shot you'll get it right. It really depends on the brand/type of motor you have and the capacitor you have. Calling a manufacturer rep is the best way to go in this instance.
Sorry I couldn't give you specific assistance but thanks for the inquiry!
