Replacement for discontinued check valve was created by Kernel32
I have a Kobalt air compressor. After doing some research, I found that it's a re-branded Powermate VPK1581768. I need to repair/replace the check valve on the unit but the original part number (031-0087) is listed everywhere as "Obsolete, No Replacement".
Is it possible to repair a faulty check valve? If not, does anyone know of a replacement that could be used to resurrect this?

I finally found the time to pull the check valve and measure the fittings.
It looks like my current check valve is 5/8" male compression by 9/16" MPT.
The closest I can find is here: aircompressorpartsonline.com/check-valve-ctd5812-p-21875.html
But that only has 1/2" MPT. I've measure the diameter of the threads several times and they're spot on 13/16" across.
Thanks

That measurement would be just about right for 1/2" NPT as 1/2" NPT doesn't measure 1/2", it's closer to 13/16" or 27/32" to be exact.
The CTD5812 on that page would probably do the trick.
