stops at 40psi was created by ralph
Have an almost new unused 2004 5 hp husky oil compressor. I finally installed a 220volt circuit , it started fine and ran to 40 psi then started to labor and then stopped. The motor was humming so i immediately shut off. I talked to a local compressor business and was told it was the reed valves.I removed the head and the valves were like new like the rest of compressor. any ideas
