why rate it 5 hp - 7.5 hp and never configure it to run on a 5 hp motor? Could I assume that since the B5900 is a 5 hp that the CFM would be relatively close? Also would 950 - 1050 rpm be a good speed to run the B6000 or what speed would you suggest?

That's a good question. This ownership of that pump has changed many times since it was first made.
Yes, that rpm range would work for you.
This pump was made in Italy for US applications.

Ok,, i guess I'll just have to do some experimenting with it and a 5hp motor and see what I can come up with. My hopes is to be somewhere around 18 - 19 CFM at 100 psi.
