I have a husky air compressor model #wl660900aj it builds up to a 100 psi but that's it and it will not shut off on its own I went on the parts search and didn't see any gasket kits so do you think it could be the pressure valve

It's typical of this to happen with oil-free, direct-drive compressors over time. Most likely the problem lies in the Pump internally. These pumps use a teflon-coated Compression (Piston) Ring to generate compression.
Since these are relatively light-duty units, running the compressor for too long continuously wears down the Piston Ring and the Cylinder Cup walls. Most likely it will need a Piston Kit which includes a new Piston, Ring, Cylinder & Bearing; this runs about $50 to $56 or so.
Hope this helps!
