Older craftsman upright oil free compressor pump

6 years 3 weeks ago #2815 by Gannon
I have an older upright craftsman compressor Model# 9191.65221 and am interested in rebuilding the pump. When I searched the site I found that some parts are no longer available. The gaskets I need are available, but I am looking to replace the piston sleeve and the piston arm if needed.
1. Do the piston arms generally need to be replaced due to wear against the sleeve or are they usually salvageable?
2. Are their other brands that use the same parts?
3. Any sources for discontinued parts?

Thanks!

Typically only this kit below is needed to restore compression.

Thanks! I would buy that kit but when I checked to confirm it would work on my model, my model number (9191.65221) is not listed. Is there a kit that would work on mine?

The first link you gave me took me to a different site and I couldn't find my model number. The site you just gave me does show my model number and I will order the kit. Just wanted to be sure before I order..Thanks
